Dr. Gokulan graduated in Ayurveda from the prestigious Coimbatore Ayurveda College – the 7½ years Ayurvedacharya course in Gurukula model. He is Chief Physician & CEO at Sudarshanam Netrachikitsalayam, Thiruvalla, Kerala. Dr. Gokulan had in-house training under Gurus like Late Ashtavaidyan Vaidya Madhom Valiya Narayanan Namboodiri, Vaidyabhooshanam Raghavan thirumulpad and Late Netracharya N. V. Kuttikrishnan Nair. He was also invited by Padmabhooshan Dr. S. S.Badrinath of Sankara Nethralaya Chennai for an informal fellowship on Modern Ophthalmology diagnostics and research.
