Dr.Meenakshi Bhat

Dr Meenakshi Bhat completed her MBBS from Mysore University in 1987 with 7 gold medals and first rank in the university. She did her MD in Paediatrics from KEM hospital, Mumbai and topped Mumbai University with a gold medal. Specialized training in the UK included MRCP (Paed) from Ireland in and a 4 year super-specialty training in Clinical Genetics from London culminating in CCST award. She worked as Consultant in Clinical Genetics at Guys & St Thomas Hospitals, London before returning to Bangalore in 1995. She is currently working as a consultant in Clinical Genetics with a special interest in prenatal diagnosis, syndromes with mental retardation, clinical dysmorphology, congenital heart disease and genetic counseling.
