Dr Megha Chethan, has completed her Graduation in 2002 and Masters in 2006 from A.B.Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences,Mangalore registered under the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. She was awarded the First rank for the state in M.D.S Conservative Dentistry Examination held by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka on Sept 2006. Presently; she is a Reader at the K.G.F College of Dental sciences, Kolar. She is a member of the Indian Endodontic Society (IES) and Federation of Operative Dentistry in India (FODI).As an Endodontist she performs mainly Single visit Root Canal Therapy, along with endodontic retreatment, post and cores, treating cracked teeth, bleaching of tooth, and treating dental trauma. Root canal therapy is done to save the tooth when the pulp (containing nerves, arterioles, venules, lymphatic tissue, and fibrous tissue) becomes diseased or injured.She has over 7 years of experience as a visiting consultant to many private practices in and around Bangalore .
