Dr. Mitesh Shetty is a Consultant Clinical Geneticist at Manipal Hospital, Bangalore. His expertise lies in the field of prenatal diagnosis, genetic counselling, first & second trimester screening in pregnancy, new born screening, Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), molecular genetics, and Non-invasive prenatal diagnosis (NIPD/NIPT). He is trained in Clinical Genetics & Cytogenetics from Duncan Guthrie Institute of Medical Genetics, Glasgow, U.K. He provides guidance to PhD & M.Phil students. He has been a part of Research project on Glioma & ??-Thallessemia funded by CSIR & ICMR. Dr. Shetty has been invited as a Speaker for many National & International level Conferences.
