BDS, MDS (Prosthodontics Implant Dentistry)Dr. Manav Kalra earned his bachelor’s degree from A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, Mangalore. He then gained his post graduate degree in Prosthodontics from Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Manipal. He also completed a one year advanced certificate course in Oral Implantology from the same institution. His 3 year post graduate specialist training included aesthetic (cosmetic) restoration and replacement of missing teeth, crown bridge work, dentures, smile design, rehabilitation of occlusion, treatment of TMJ disorders etc. He is also competent at treating patients who have acquired and congenital defects of the head and neck (maxillofacial) region. Maxillary obturators, speech-aid prosthesis, artificial eyes, nose and other facial prostheses can all be fabricated for special cases. Dr. Manav Kalra has also published many research articles in internationally renowned journals. When he is not improving smiles, Manav enjoys basketball, golf swimming.
