Dr.Ranjan Dutta

Dr. Ranjan Dutta has been associated with the Cataract Intraocular Lens Service of Shroff Eye Centre since 1997 as a Consultant and is proficient in microincision phacoemulsification cataract surgery and foldable IOL implantation. Since 2003, he has also been associated with the Refractive Surgery (LASIK) unit of Shroff Eye Centre and is competent in refractive procedures such as Customized LASIK, IntraLase (blade free LASIK) and Surface Ablation (Epi-LASIK).Besides clinical work, Dr. Dutta is actively involved in the DNB teaching programme at Shroff Eye Centre providing both didactic teaching as well as surgical training of ophthalmic students. He has presented Scientific Papers and posters at various Conferences, and has contributed chapters in various textbooks of ophthalmology.
