He is extensively trained in Gastrointestinal Hepatobiliary Oncosurgery in India and aboard in U. K. over 10 years. He is currently practicing as a senior surgeon with special interest in advanced laparoscopic surgery in the field of liver, pancreas and gastro oncosurgery. Dr. Chakrabarti has recently started performing laparoscopic bariatric surgery and carrying out surgical weight loss program in Columbia Asia Hospital, Kolkata. 4 successful patients have been treated including 1 NRI patient.
