After completing his post graduation in surgery from Bombay University, Dr. Chandiramani went to the United Kingdom for higher surgical training. He completed a General Surgery rotation through various disciplines of surgery in U.K. over a period of 7 years. He was appointed as a consultant surgeon at P.D.Hinduja National hospital over 12 years ago where he has been working continuously to date.Dr. Vinod Chandiramani heads the Department of General Surgery since 2001. His Department undertakes over 1500 operations per year. The Department of General surgery is also recognized for Post Graduate surgical training by National Board of Examinations and he supervises 6 Post Graduate surgery students. He takes keen interest in academic activities of his juniors and department.
