He also has keen interest in cleft surgeries. Since the completion of his masters, he has attended several advanced courses in Cosmetic Dentistry. His work focuses primarily on Orthodontics, Implantology and Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Shaksham Mittal has been a part of various Orthodontic Conferences and Workshops at the National & International level. He is currently the Life Member of the Indian Orthodontic Society and Indian Dental Association. He has presented many papers and has received many awards and honours along his professional tenure. He has organized various dental awareness camps uplifting the level of dental excellence. Dr. Shaksham Mittal also takes keen interest in teaching and lecturing, he has worked as senior lecturer at Institute of Dental Science & Technology prior to starting his own practice.
