She completed her MBBS and MS (Oph) from Shivaji University, Kolhapur; Certificate Course of Contact Lens from LV Prasad Eye Hospital, Hyderabad; short term fellowship in Glaucoma from Arvind Eye Hospital, Madurai. She has worked in K.B.H.B. Charitable Oph. Hospital and Jaslok Hospital in Mumbai for 2 years and Prabha Eye clinic, Bangalore for 7 years.
