Dr.Meenakshi Bhagyam has completed her M.B.B.S and D.G.O at Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai in April 1999. She went to UK and joined the Royal Wolverhampton Hospital. She cleared her second part of MRCOG in November 2004 whilst training at Royal Wolverhampton Hospital. She completed her training in family planning methods and Sexually transmitted infections and obtained her DFSRH in 2007.She worked briefly at Royal London Hospital.Then moved to Urswick Medical Centre in order to complete her training in General Practice. She cleared her MRCGP in April 2008,and achieved her Certificate of completion of Training. She has worked as a fully trained General Practioner with special interest in Women’s health and Diabetes since 2008. She has worked in Urswick Medical Centre, Dagenham, Queen’s way Surgery,Southend On Sea and Eastwood group Practice, Leigh On Sea, London. She has been actively involved in teaching Medical Students, Post graduates and allied health professionals. She is a mother of 2 children and recently moved to Bangalore.
