Ms. Meghana Jadhav has completed Masters in Counselling Psychology from the University of Mumbai and has worked with renowned Tata Institute of Social Sciences for a project. She had worked there as a counselor managing adult and adolescent clients with varied concerns such as Emotional distress, Relationship concerns, Suicidal ideations, Violence/Abuse, Depression, Anxiety, and Mood disorders. She has been part of training other counselors and facilitating workshops on various topics such as managing stress, interview readiness and psychoeducation. Her approach in therapy is mainly Cognitive Behavioural Therapies, and she follows LGBT Affirmative Therapy. She has practiced various Cognitive Behavioral Intervention techniques and mindfulness-based techniques. In the duration of her work with TISS, she have taken part in two courses to improve her knowledge and skills of counselling. They are Tarshi's Online Course on Sexuality and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and Coursera's online Social Psychology Course. Thus gaining skills to manage concerns regarding sexuality and social stigmas.She has practice remedial coaching during her internship with Vishesh inclusive center of education.
