He attended Nashik Medical College as an undergraduate and then did his masters DNB & DOMS surgical training in ophthalmology from the National Institute of Ophthalmology, Pune. After his postgraduation he has gained immense working experience as ophthalmologist in various prestigious hospitals like P.D Hinduja Hospital, Mahim, R. N Cooper Hospital, Vile Parle, Rajawadi hospital, Ghatkopar etc. Following extensive training and long term surgical fellowship at the prestigious Aravind Eye Hospital, Coimbatore he worked as a Consultant VitreoRetina at Aravind Eye Hospital, Pondicherry.
