DEHYDROEPIANDROSTERONE+FOLIC ACID is a combination medicine used for treating female infertility. It helps in maintaining the hormonal balance in the body and improving pregnancy rates by its endocrinal stimulation of egg cells. Female infertility is a condition in which a woman is unable to conceive despite frequent unprotected sex for at least a year, due to a lack of natural progesterone. 

DEHYDROEPIANDROSTERONE+FOLIC ACID contains 'Dehydroepiandrosterone and Folic acid'. DEHYDROEPIANDROSTERONE+FOLIC ACID treats infertility by enhancing the success rate of pregnancy and conception through mechanisms such as follicle stimulation, promoting healthy egg cell production, and eliminating defunct ova. DEHYDROEPIANDROSTERONE+FOLIC ACID is also a potent antioxidant and is useful in promoting overall health, nutrition, and well-being.

DEHYDROEPIANDROSTERONE+FOLIC ACID may be taken with or without food. Swallow it as a whole with water. DEHYDROEPIANDROSTERONE+FOLIC ACID may interact with antidepressants and mood stabilizers (lithium, fluoxetine, sertraline, citalopram, paroxetine), antipsychotics (olanzapine, clozapine, chlorpromazine), hormones (estrogen, testosterone), insulin, antacids, chemotherapy (fluorouracil), anti-IBD drugs (sulfasalazine), anti-TB drugs (rifampicin, rifabutin), antifungals (fluconazole, itraconazole), antibiotics (trimethoprim, cotrimoxazole) and cholesterol-reducing drugs (cholestyramine).

Drug-Disease Interaction:

DEHYDROEPIANDROSTERONE+FOLIC ACID should be used with caution in patients with a known hypersensitivity disorder, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, endometriosis, fibroids, polycystic ovaries, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, established liver disease, kidney disease, tumours, head and neck cancers or pernicious anaemia. Avoid DEHYDROEPIANDROSTERONE+FOLIC ACID if you are undergoing haemodialysis or are receiving a coronary stent.
