Directions for Use

• Proparacaine + Chlorbutol is used to numb the eye before surgery, certain tests, or procedures.
• A doctor or other trained health professional will give you this medicine. Usually, 1-2 drops are sufficient to anesthetize the eye.
• The effect of this medicine lasts for up to half an hour.
• Avoid touching or rubbing your eyes while it is still numb.
• This medicine is not for long-term use. Using it for a longer time than needed may cause blurred vision, decreased vision, or blindness.
• You may need to protect your eyes from bright light for a short time after being treated with Proparacaine + Chlorbutol.
