Cipcort FC Cream
PRODUCT DETAILS
About Cipcort FC Cream
MICONAZOLE+MOMETASONE+NADIFLOXACIN is a dermatological combination medication used to reduce swelling, itching and redness caused due to certain fungal skin infections. Fungal infection is a skin disease in which a fungus attacks the skin tissue and cause infection. Fungal infections may be contagious (spread from one person to another).
MICONAZOLE+MOMETASONE+NADIFLOXACIN contains Nadifloxacin (antibiotics), Mometasone (corticosteroid) and Miconazole (antifungal). Nadifoxacin is bactericidal and works by killing bacteria that cause infections. It inhibits the repairing of bacterial cells and kills the bacteria, thereby preventing the infection's further spread. Mometasone blocks various chemical messengers (like histamine) involved in allergic and non-allergic mediated inflammation. It reduces inflammation, itchiness and redness by preventing infection-fighting white blood cells (WBCs) from travelling to the affected area of your body. Miconazole belongs to the antifungals class that works by causing holes in the fungal cell membranes and kills fungi.
MICONAZOLE+MOMETASONE+NADIFLOXACIN is only for external use. Take a small amount of MICONAZOLE+MOMETASONE+NADIFLOXACIN on the finger and apply as a thin layer on the clean and dry affected area. Avoid contact of MICONAZOLE+MOMETASONE+NADIFLOXACIN with nose, ears, mouth or eyes. In case MICONAZOLE+MOMETASONE+NADIFLOXACIN comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. Some people may experience dry skin, itching, irritation, redness or burning sensation at the application site. Most of these side effects of MICONAZOLE+MOMETASONE+NADIFLOXACIN do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you are known to be allergic to MICONAZOLE+MOMETASONE+NADIFLOXACIN or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or a nursing mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using MICONAZOLE+MOMETASONE+NADIFLOXACIN. Do not use MICONAZOLE+MOMETASONE+NADIFLOXACIN in more than prescribed doses or for a prolonged time as it may cause adverse effects. Do not wrap or cover the treated area with bandages unless advised by your doctor. Avoid using MICONAZOLE+MOMETASONE+NADIFLOXACIN for more than 5 days in children and on the face. Do not apply MICONAZOLE+MOMETASONE+NADIFLOXACIN to broken skin or cuts. Do not swallow MICONAZOLE+MOMETASONE+NADIFLOXACIN. In case of accidental swallowing, contact a nearby poison control centre or consult a doctor immediately. Avoid smoking or going near naked flames as MICONAZOLE+MOMETASONE+NADIFLOXACIN catches fire and burns easily. If you have glaucoma, cataracts, diabetes, psoriasis, adrenal gland or liver problems, inform your doctor before taking MICONAZOLE+MOMETASONE+NADIFLOXACIN.
