Dicyclomine + Mefenamic Acid + Simethicone is a combination of three medicines: Dicyclomine, Mefenamic Acid, and Simethicone. Dicyclomine is an antispasmodic that works by relaxing the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms), thereby relieving cramps and pain. Mefenamic Acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Simethicone is an antifoaming medicine that disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.
