About Furachlor 100mg Tablet
Furazolidone is used to treat bacterial and protozoal infections. It works by killing bacteria and protozoa (tiny, one-celled animals). Some protozoa are parasites that can cause many different kinds of infections in the body.

Furazolidone is used in the treatment of diarrhea. It treats diarrhea caused by giardia infection.

Furazolidone is an antibiotic. It works by suppressing bacterial enzymes involved in carbohydrate metabolism, thereby reducing the available energy for vital cellular functions. This stops bacterial growth and treats stomach and intestinal infections.
