Medicinal Benefits of Isonex 300mg Tablet
ISONIAZID contains Isoniazid, an antibiotic used to treat and prevent tuberculosis. ISONIAZID prevents the production of mycolic acids by bacteria that are essential for the formation of cell walls (protective coating). Also, ISONIAZID may combine with an enzyme that interferes with the cell metabolism of bacteria. Thereby, bacteria die without a cell wall and due to disruption in their metabolism. Thus, it destroys the bacteria named Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which causes TB (tuberculosis), and eliminates the infection.
