About Omoxitin Kit

AMOXICILLIN+OMEPRAZOLE+TINIDAZOLE belongs to the class of medicines called ‘anti-ulcerants' primarily used to treat peptic ulcers. A sore that develops on the lining of the oesophagus, stomach or small intestine called peptic ulcers.Ulcers occur when stomach acid damages the lining of the digestive tract and the most common symptom of a peptic ulcer is stomach pain.

AMOXICILLIN+OMEPRAZOLE+TINIDAZOLE is a combination of three medicines include: omeprazole, amoxicillin and tinidazole, which are antiulcerants .Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which reduces the amount of acid in the stomach and treats acid-related indigestion and ulcers. Amoxicillin is  an antibiotic which works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering that is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Tinidazole is also an antibiotic which kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Together, they eradicate the infection effectively.

ORNIDAZOLE is selectively harmful to germs that don't require oxygen to survive. ORNIDAZOLE kills microbes by entering their cells and generating harmful molecules where oxygen deficiency exists, damage the DNA of germs (protozoans & bacteria that live in the absence of oxygen), and kills them.

Directions for Use

Inform your doctor if you have had an allergic reaction to AMOXICILLIN+OMEPRAZOLE+TINIDAZOLE, have liver disease and kidney disease. AMOXICILLIN+OMEPRAZOLE+TINIDAZOLE may interact with other medicines like antifungal (ketoconazole,cotrimazole),pain killers (ibuprofen, naproxen, aspirin), antibiotics (doxycycline, erythromycin, tetracycline,ampicillin),antiepileptics (phenytoin, Diazepam),immunosuppressants (cyclosporine) and oral anti-coagulants (warfarin).

Safety Advice

ALCOHOL

• AMOXICILLIN+OMEPRAZOLE+TINIDAZOLE and alcohol together leads to aggravate the symptoms of peptic ulcer,thus strictly not to be taken together

PREGNANCY

• AMOXICILLIN+OMEPRAZOLE+TINIDAZOLE is not recommended and unsafe in pregnancy. It can affect and harm the baby. Consult your doctor before taking AMOXICILLIN+OMEPRAZOLE+TINIDAZOLE if you plan to become pregnant or already pregnant. BREAST FEEDING

• AMOXICILLIN+OMEPRAZOLE+TINIDAZOLE is known to pass breast milk, but its effect on the baby is not known. So, before breastfeeding, let your doctor know about this. Either you need to stop breastfeeding for using AMOXICILLIN+OMEPRAZOLE+TINIDAZOLE or stop taking AMOXICILLIN+OMEPRAZOLE+TINIDAZOLE.

DRIVING

• AMOXICILLIN+OMEPRAZOLE+TINIDAZOLE may cause side effect like dizziness,which can affect your ability to concentrate and drive. Hence, it is recommended not to drive or operate machinery until you are mentally alert

LIVER

• AMOXICILLIN+OMEPRAZOLE+TINIDAZOLE has been found to affect liver function in certain cases thus patients with liver problems should discuss with their doctor for proper guidance regarding treatment with this medication.

KIDNEY
