About Procold Tablet

Paracetamol + Phenylephrine + Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Ibuprofen + Zinc is a combination of five medicines: Paracetamol , Phenylephrine , Chlorpheniramine Maleate , Ibuprofen and Ibuprofen which relieve cold symptoms. Paracetamol and Ibuprofen are analgesics (pain relievers) and antipyretics (fever reducers). They block the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever. Paracetamol is a nasal decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Zinc is a nutritional supplement which releases zinc ions into the throat. This prevents the cold virus from reproducing due to which the virus dies off faster and the cold ends sooner.
