About Saliderm F Ointment
Fluocinolone acetonide is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Benzoic Acid is an antiseptic. Salicylic Acid is a keratolytic medicine which breaks down keratin clumps, removes dead skin cells and softens the skin.
Uses of Saliderm F Ointment
Fluocinolone acetonide+Benzoic Acid+Salicylic Acid is used in the treatment of dermatitis.
Medicinal Benefits of Saliderm F Ointment
Fluocinolone acetonide + Benzoic Acid + Salicylic Acid is a combination of three medicines: Fluocinolone acetonide , Benzoic Acid and Salicylic Acid. Fluocinolone acetonide is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Benzoic Acid is an antiseptic. Salicylic Acid is a keratolytic medicine which breaks down keratin clumps, removes dead skin cells and softens the skin. It also enhances the absorption of Fluocinolone acetonide into the skin.

Safety Advice
PREGNANCY
The effects of Benzoic Acid + Fluocinolone + Salicylic Acid on pregnant women are unknown since no research has been done to ascertain it yet.
BREAST FEEDING
No research work has been carried out till date on effect of Benzoic Acid + Fluocinolone + Salicylic Acid on breastfeeding women. So it is not known whether taking Benzoic Acid + Fluocinolone + Salicylic Acid will cause side effects or not.
LIVER
Benzoic Acid + Fluocinolone + Salicylic Acid is completely safe for the liver.
KIDNEY
Benzoic Acid + Fluocinolone + Salicylic Acid has very mild side effects on the kidneys.
