Advanced Life Support (ALS) - Ambulance - At Chennai

Advanced Life Support (ALS) is a set of life-saving protocols and skills that extend Basic Life Support to further support the circulation and provide an open airway and adequate ventilation (breathing). Patients who typically require ALS transport include:

* Any medical/surgical patient with a continuous IV medicine but does not need a RN per state protocols.

* Any patient on a Cardiac Monitor

* Obstetrical Patients

* Patients from urgent care centers

* Patients with potential airway compromise

* Any patient deemed to have a potential complication during transport  when report is received from the sending facility.
