Basic Life Support (BLS) - Ambulance - At Chennai

Basic Life Support Ambulances are designed keeping in view the requirement of handling General type of emergencies where the situation is not really life threatening. BLS Ambulances are built on the base vehicle and provided fabrication of FRP material with provision of Insulation, lighting, Air-conditioning, drinking/washing water, waste management facility, storage etc. etc. The BLS Ambulance is also provided with facility for the patient management and various devices like Auto-loading stretchers, Wheel Chair, Scoop Stretcher, Spine Board are provided for efficient patient management. Further facility of Suction Pump is provided for Suction applications besides availability of power Invertor for providing back up supply .

Some of the BLS Ambulances also carry a Basic Patient Monitor to read the Vital signs during emergency management. Various vehicles used for BLS Ambulances range from TATA-Winger, Force Tempo Traveller to bigger vehicles provided by Swaraj Mazda, Eicher, Ashok Leyland etc.
