About Trovafin 10mg/160mg/5mg Tablet
Atorvastatin + Fenofibrate + Folic Acid is a combination of lipid (fat) lowering medicines. It is used to lower the levels of lipids known as cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood when lifestyle changes (eg. low-fat diet) on their own have failed. This medicine helps to reduce the risk of heart disease.
Uses of Trovafin 10mg/160mg/5mg Tablet
Atorvastatin+Fenofibrate+Folic Acid is used in the treatment of high cholesterol and high triglycerides.
Medicinal Benefits of Trovafin 10mg/160mg/5mg Tablet
Atorvastatin + Fenofibrate + Folic Acid is a combination of two lipid-lowering medicines (Atorvastatin , Fenofibrate ) and a vitamin ( Folic Acid). Atorvastatin prevents your body from making "bad" cholesterol (LDL) while Fenofibrate works by lowering the levels of triglycerides in your blood. Additionally, they both raise the levels of “good” cholesterol (HDL). Folic Acid reduces the levels of a harmful substance (homocysteine), thereby decreasing cholesterol synthesis.
Directions for Use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it.
