After completing his BAMS he went to pursue the hidden treasures of Ayurveda in the heartlands of Kerala. He became the protégé of Dr.Aryadevi, Chief Physician, Sukrutham Ayurvedic Hospital, Calicut, a direct disciple of Ashtavaidya Parampara, under whom he started visualizing the age old tradition of Ayurveda in a new light.
