Dr. Tanveer Singh Bhutani finished his M.S. Orthopaedics with Honours under the able guidance of Dr. (Col.) S.K. Biswas, and was the University Topper in Faculty of Surgery. He was awarded the Gold Medal for his outstanding performance in M.S. Orthopaedics by Former President Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam. Dr. Bhutani became the first Indian orthopaedic surgeon to win the prestigious SICOT International Travelling Scholarship in 2011. He also won ESSKA International Travelling Scholarship and was given the opportunity to train at one of the best Joint Replacement and Arthroscopy centres in the world, ATOS Klinik, Heidelberg, Germany.
