Born in New Delhi, she completed all of her high school education in India. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from University at Albany, She has worked at the Employment Program for Recovered Addicts in Manhattan, in the capacity of a Vocational Counsellor. After coming back home to India, she started her private practice. She also worked at Epsyclinic.com in the capacity of Online Counselling Psychologist and Core-team member. Currently, she is a Consulting Counselling Psychologist for parents at Tenderfeet Nursery School in Vasant Kunj while also consulting counselling psychologist at NuTech Mediworld Hospital, New Delhi.She is passionate about LGBTQI mental health and wellbeing and hopes that there will be many more Queer Friendly Counselling centers such as ours in Delhi, because no matter the law, their mental health and wellbeing needs must be attended to and given the statistics, even more so.
