In 2001, he established the Department of Cardiology (Invasive Et Non-Invasive) at Apollo Hospitals Bilaspur as a Senior Consultant.Dr. Rathi has a vast experience in Invasive Cardiology. He has performed more than 12,500 Cardiovascular Interventions. He is an expert at performing Coronary Interventions from the wrist (Radial artery), which is a safer and much more patient friendly approach. On the academic front, he has numerous publications in various National and International journals to his credit.
