After completing her MD in Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy from Pondicherry University (Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences), she has worked under eminent doctors in the field of clinical dermatology, cosmetology and dermatosurgery. Her special interests in the speciality include clinical dermatology, cosmetology and dermatosurgery. She has presented several papers and posters based on clinical dermatology during her academic period. After being exposed to various procedures during her course including electrocautery, cryotherapy, lasers and peels, she continues to broaden her area of expertise in cosmetology and dermatosurgery at YCDC.
