Dr. Praveen Sharma is a Consultant Gastroenterologist based in New Delhi, currently attached to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and to Satyam Medical Centre. Dr. Sharma has an MD in Medicine and a DM in Gastroenterology as his postgraduate qualifications, and specialises in liver disease and transplantation. Dr. Sharma then served as a Fellow Hepatologist in the liver transplant unit of Hospital Paul Brusse, France, from May to October 2008. This hospital is recognised globally for its expertise in transplantation in co-infected patients (HIV+HBV/HCV) and domino transplants. Subsequently, he completed a one-month observer ship in advanced endoscopy at Kyushu University Fukuoka Japan from November to December 2010, where he observed the faculties of NBI, ESD, EMR and cholangioscopy.
