Dr. Praveen Sharma is a Consultant Gastroenterologist based in New Delhi, currently attached to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and to Satyam Medical Centre. Dr. Sharma has an MD in Medicine and a DM in Gastroenterology as his postgraduate qualifications, and specialises in liver disease and transplantation.After his MD, Dr. Praveen Sharma worked as a Senior fellow in the Department of Medicine in tertiary hospital from 2001 to 2004 , Delhi. He then pursued the DM degree in the Department of Gastroenterology at the GB Pant Hospital for three years. In November 2007, he was appointed as Senior Research Associate.Dr. Sharma then served as a Fellow Hepatologist in the liver transplant unit of Hospital Paul Brusse, Villejuif, France in 2008.
