Dr. Puja Goyal completed her schooling from Rosary High School between 1983 to 1996 and junior college in science from Fergusson College, Pune. She then completed her MBBS under Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in 2004 from Padmashree. Dr. D Y Patil Medical College, Pune followed by Diploma (Ophthalmology) from H V Desai Eye Hospital, Pune in 2006. Subsequently she worked in Government Medical College, Nagpur, a regional referral centre in central India. She completed her Diplomate of National Board of Examinations (DNB) in 2010. She later completed long term Fellowship in Orbit, Oculoplasty, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery 2010-2012 at prestigious Medical Research Foundation, Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai.Dr. Goyal is actively involved in teaching and academics, having trained post-graduate and optometry students. She has presented papers, posters, scientific videos at National and International conferences. She has been an active organizing team member in numerous CMEs and conferences.She has special interest in rehabilitation of patients with facial palsy, anophthalmic sockets and the ageing face. Ocular trauma and orbital fracture management are her other areas of interest.Presently she runs her own eye clinic and surgical centre named SEE Eye Clinic and is working with National Institute of Ophthalmology, which is the first NABH accreted eye hospital in Pune as Head and Consultant Department of Orbit and Oculoplasty and KEM Hospital, Noble Hospital, ACE Hospital and multiple eye clinics in and around Pune.
